Teenage Cancer Trust

The Teenage Cancer trust, dedicated to helping 13- to 24-year-olds with cancer, will launch a new visual identity developed by The Cernis Collective and Why Not Associates. The new logo is meant to be more dynamic than the previous logo, with more color and a bolder logotype.

I find the new logo acceptable. Visually appealing, eye-catching. I have to wonder: during their re-brand, if they serve people past the age of teenagers, why didn't they change their name to reflect the full demographic they serve? In an age where "helicopter parents" run rampant, it is a little unnerving to see young adults lumped in with teens in this organization's demographic. I'm speaking strictly from a marketing perspective of course; their aim to help others is admirable.
